Client Testimonials

Andy Algar, Assistant Director (Property Services)

Serving Richmond and Wandsworth Councils

I was coached my Mick during my time as an Assistant Director at another LA in 2012. Whilst I was an experienced AD with formal management qualifications, Mick provided support and insight that enabled me to manage a very challenging job which was both to the benefit of myself and the organisation. Mick helped me to see some of my “blind spots” and therefore manage myself and situations in a far more effective manner.

Mick has subsequently worked with me on a number of occasions in team-building related activities and has proved as equally effective.

Dr Claire Bayntun, Head of Global Executive Leadership programme

London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine

Mick Sital-Singh’s facilitation of the Leadership Course has been exceptional. Mick’s expertise in leadership and management theories and practice has been shared through rich exercises, discussion and psychometric assessments over the programme. However, it is Mick’s ability to bring this to life with tangible examples from the wider world, and in cross-referencing with experiences shared by members of the cohort, that is most valuable.

Ruth Whitaker, CEO

MAF-UK

Mick Sital-Singh supported us in a number of ways during times of team change in our leadership team, both with our Senior Leadership Team and also our Board of Trustees and SLT together.

Facilitating team development workshops, Mick brought great insight into how different personality types can work together most effectively. With the use of Myers Briggs (Step II) and other techniques, he has helped us increase our own awareness of our preferences and brought great insight into our working interactions. Mick has a depth of understanding which enables him to make practical suggestions for bringing out various members of the group.

Mick’s understanding of and passion for people bringing their best to a senior team / work group and awareness of interactions has been an asset and added to our effectiveness. We have found that he is someone that you can build trust and a good working relationship with quickly.

Frances Flinter, Emeritus Professor of Clinical Genetics

Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust

I had the privilege of being coached by Mick and his colleagues when I was first appointed as clinical director at an acute Trust. Mick did some detailed work with us to explore our personalities and approach to managing tricky situations. In the space of a few days, Mick established a much more robust way for us to work as a trio, building on our strengths and developing our less instinctive behaviours. I have used what I learned from Mick throughout my career and highly recommend him to any Trust with teams that wish to develop and flourish.
